In Bangladesh, there are several news portal websites. Most of them are government-registered, while others are still unregistered. Many organizations and institutions desire to create a new Bangla News Portal website.
Bengal Times
In East Bengal, The Bengal Times was indeed a powerful publication. The cost of each edition in Dhaka was eight annas, and nine annas outside of Dhaka. The cheapest promotion cost one rupee. Every row had a rate of four annas. The title of the journal was modified to Eastern Bengal and Assams Times after the subdivision of the subcontinent in 1905.
Bonik Barta
Bangladesh’s Bonik Barta is a Bangla national paper. The heart of the country, Dhaka is where the publication is issued. Dewan Hanif Mahmud is the name of the newspaper’s editor. The newspaper had a readership of 134,000 in 2018.
Somoyer Konthosor
Somoyer Konthosor is a Bangladeshi internet news platform. Azizur Rahman Aziz, Aminul Islam Bedu, and Ahmed Towfiq started it in 2013. In under a year, it has established itself as Bangladesh’s premier internet news source. As per Alexa data, it ranked 18th in Bangladesh in 2014 for any domain rankings. Amader Shomoy
Amader Shomoy is a Bangladeshi local newspaper in Bengali. Amader Shomoy began publishing in 2003 under the name Nayeemul Islam Khan but was forced to resign as publisher in 2012 due to a legal ruling.
Priyo
Priyo, which means “Dear” in Bangla, is a Bengali online site and mass media firm created by Zakaria Swapan in 2011. It is headquartered in Bangladesh and caters largely to Bangladeshi audiences, including pop culture media, local interest articles, and Bangla historical and social commentary. Zakaria Swapan started Priyo in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2011. Priyo Ltd is one of the firms listed on the Bangladesh Association of Software and Services (BASIS) website. It is largely funded by FENOX Venture Capital.
News24
Bangladesh’s News24 is a subscription television station. It was first launched in 2016 and has remained one of the leading online Bangla news portals. It is a division of East West Media Group, which is operated by Bashundhara Group and is based in Bashundhara Residential Area, Baridhara, Dhaka. On February 1, 2021, News24 launched an HD channel. NEWS24 began testing on March 26, 2016. On July 28, 2016, the channel made its debut.
